We know you wandered onto this blog post because you are craving a day to soak up the rays and dip into the pool as you please. We also know you need some quick recipes to spend less time in the kitchen and more time in the sun. Here are a few popsicle recipes that are sure to cool you down and still give you time to tan!

You can never go wrong with a simple popsicle on a hot summer day. Fruity flavors enhance the summer aesthetic, bringing vibrancy and freshness to your palette. Watermelon pops are the perfect popsicle to refresh and hydrate your body at the same time. All these pops require is for watermelon to be thrown in the blender until blended smooth, poured into popsicle molds, and stuck in the freezer overnight. If the watermelon does not have the sweetness or desired flavor it should, don’t be afraid to add in a splash of honey, lemon juice, or liquid stevia.

Sitting poolside is always a good time. Sitting poolside with a margarita in hand: unforgettable. Sticking on the theme of watermelon, these boozy watermelon pops are a great 21+ alternative if you’re looking to spike up your day! For this recipe, mix tequila, triple sec, and lime juice in a bowl and soak the watermelon triangle slices for 15 to 20 minutes. Once soaked pop them on a stick and dip the tips in sugar. Finally, lay the pops out on a baking sheet and stick in the freezer for at least two hours. Lastly, enjoy your watermelon margarita on a stick!
